since it was my first time going scuba diving, we had to attend this theory and practical course. i had to change my theory lesson date cos it clashed with believe tour so i didnt get to meet the other np people who were going until the practical lesson which was at outram sec the next week. im so glad they were all nice people hehe
they say its a 3D2N diving trip but i only consider a 2D2N trip cos we only left singapore at about 9pm on 27th sept and came back about the same time on 29th. ON the first night, we reached the port at about 1am if im not wrong but it was late and i had to wake up from my sleep on the bus :( but i managed to sleep on the boat as well even though i was freeeeeeeezing. we reached tioman at about 3/4am in the morning.
there were a total of 3 couples who went heh me and brendan, faye and jiim & joanne and wesley. so we took the rooms beside each other. me, brendan, faye and jiim shared a room. the others took a room quite far from ours. ours was damn ulu like really at one corner.
the 4 of us were late on the second day haha we were suppose to meet at 8 to get breakfast but we woke up at only 7.45am then still need wait here wait there for everyone to finish using the toilet. but thankgod we still have briefing so they didnt leave without us haha brendan was my buddy so if i was otu of air or anything, he'll have to save me hahahaha jk but i will have to get air from him so if i drown it'll be his fault hahahahha
the first dive was damn exciting, i was damn excited hahaha maybe cos it was my first time. we went to about 5.1m deep according to my dive log haha we didnt do much, it was just decending and clearing the mask. we mainly did skills haha then our second dive was even deeper, we went down to 10m and there were so many hard corals and it poked my leg :( we performed dive skills againnnnnn and we saw a sea turtle!!!!!!!!! omg i was damn happy hahahaha the third dive was also performing dive skills plus a little tour around the area. this time i saw a stingray!!! but i didnt manage to see the super big lobster the instrustor and divemaster saw :( oh well
it was tiring but fun. then we stopped at this island for surface interval. i think it was before the third dive. then after the third dive we went back to the resort for dinner and shower while the advanced open water people went for their night dive. we headed to the pub there. i think only me and brendan were underage drinking cos everyone else there was legal if i didnt rememeber wrongly.
they ordered two pizzas and drinks. me and brendan shared a vodka coke. then there was this instructor/dive master that went to order weird drinks for us hahaha then we pass around and all. it was fun haha we went to buy ramly for supper after that omg i miss the ramly there so much :'( we slept at about ...... 1am?
we had to wake up early the next day to have our breakfast on the boat. we only had two dives and one was complementary somemore cos we cannot leave until 2. both were like leisure dives, we just went about this two places. we went under the jetty during the fourth dive. ohya did i mention that there were sooooooooo many sea urchins?!?!?! i was damn scared that they will poke me if i go lower all the time hahahahahaa then we saw un-puffed puffer fishes, its so cute!!!
then the fifth dive was around this island where we saw so many things!!!!! there was this abandoned "playground" and a threadmill and a bicycle at this area then we saw cuttlefish. if you shock the cuttlefish, the sides of it will turn blue, damn cool one hahaha then i saw shadows of two sharks cos it was quite far. we saw this turtle in the hole too!!! damn exciting hehehe im so happy
then the trip ended :( we went back to bathe and get ready for the departure. we got the dive log on the boat and now im officially an open water diver!!! i want to go for the advanced one but i scared night dive LOL anyway it was fun!!! with great company too hehe our divemaster was cute, she also very friendly hehe i like. and our instructor looks like ponsak!!!
the ramly there was damn cheap. i cant really remember how many times we ate haha but brendan ordered this "diver's special" burger (if im not wrong) which has (patty + egg + cheese) x2. it was only RM8 which is less then 4SGD. i got the normal one and it was soooo good
i have always wanted to go tioman one day and i finally did!!! it was cos of this tv show which made me so interested in tioman hahaha its such a beautiful island and i hope to be back one day!
i dont know where to slot in the photos so i just put it all here. and its all taken on land cos we dont have the underwater camera :( but the water is damnnnnn clear like you can actually see the base hehe love it!
