So I was planning to just let this blog die out because I was toooo lazy to update but I realised that I cant bring myself to do it cos it holds too many memories :( and I rly want to come back and read in the future (which is the main point of this blog) So, Im back after 11 months & SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED
Ok, lets see:
I believe (and according to my diary), OPT project was due on 4th Jan and that was the first project that we have handed up. But thankfully, it was due so early since the rest of the projects were due about mid to end Jan - DMGT was due on the 15th and STMGT + FYP were due on 18th. I swear I felt like I couldnt breathe cos the dates were so near and we only started on STMGT report on 16th (OMG HOW DID WE EVEN DO THAT) but FYP was out of the way by 15th because that was the initial deadline and we were done!!! Obv, we had our presentations after that but FYP was the most nervewrecking one since we had to present in front of our clients in an LT & I WAS ALMOST LATE COS THE MRT BROKE DOWN

So on the 28th Jan, we had our FYP presentation. We had many rounds of rehearsal, alone and with our lecturer and I confirm never practice so much before for a presentation LOL and it was a whole day thing but we all had to go in the morning then I was even early ok, earlier than usual. But the train decided to screw me over and it took 20 minutes to reach commonwealth from tiong bahru?!?!!! And I got sooo frustrated cos i was running late and the freaking taxi queue was damn long so I decided to call either grab or uber and the uncle made the day a little better cos he was nice hahahaha and i was on time!!!!! (omg first post after coming back then rant already)
The presentation was, I would say, better than I expected!!! My part was the game part and I had to be interactive which was crazy cos in front of half the cohort (plus Dinah, Xr and Zayle who came to support!!!) and the lecturers and the clients hahaha but yay I did it hehehe it was either us or the other RCI group that presented first but I felt that we did better :P hahaha andandand THE CLIENT GAVE US A FREE CRUISE TRIP (TO I CANNOT RMB WHERE) AT THE END OF THE PRESENTATION AND I WAS SO HAPPY AND EXCITED AND RELIEF COS EVERYTHING IS OVER AND WE EVEN GET TO GO ON RCI WHAAAAAT RIGHT I rly thought they were gna smoke us but they didnt, and kept their promise omg what ok wait i drifting to another topic already hahahahha
(and I forgot we had this visit on the ship before we started on our FYP report hehehe RCI rly the best I will never forget hahahahaha)
And I am so so so so so thankful that our group complemented each other so well even though its the first time we four worked tgt :'''') you guys have been the best and I rly feel damn guilty for being so useless sometimes :( Sometimes I feel like im pulling the group down because im not rly good at anything sigh but thank you for carrying me through the last semester in NP with Brendan and Cheryl tanking the editing of my shit english and with ML doing all the SPSS and all three of you for producing such quality work :'') why did we only find each other only at the last semester but at least we found each other hehehe You three are *handsdown* my favourite groupmates in poly and I will probably never forget hahaha and the fact that we had a common enemy ahem kinda made us even tighter LOL I hope our friendship never ever ever die and omg am i getting sentimental and emotional writing this because I rlyrlyrly miss our ultimate combo :'( it was a hell of a ride and so freaking hectic I cannot even BUT i wont mind seeing all your faces everyday like how I did when our projects were due in a few days, i rly dont omg pls bring me back :'''''''''( I rly damnnnn grateful you have no idea and i dont think anyone else can replace you three :') throwback to our first photo tgt when we ton at the airport hahahaha (AND THE ONLY FEW PHOTOS ML SMILING?)
And ya, after the projects we had exams then itz the holidays before we officially graduate!!! Nothing much rly happened between the after projects period and the exams period cos it was only 2 weeks I think. We just attended all the revision lectures, as usual AND WE IZ DONE!!! We tried to do the throw paper one then we had to like do 3 takes or something so we had to pick up our trash thrice but the process was damn funny hahahahahahaha I died when i was selecting the photos and I even made a GIF hahahahaha oh bring me back pls
So thats about it for now!!! I'll update everything in chronological order ok, I try and incase youre wondering, I have graduated from NPTRM in May and been on 3 graduation trips (Penang + Hong Kong + Krabi/Bangkok) and is in uni now AND I have a FM test on Monday which sucks cos I havent started studying but I have to study now because Brendan's fieldcamp is ending tomorrow and I wna spend a nice weekend with him hehehe I was highly motivated to revive this dead piece of (I wouldnt call it shit since I put in alot effort into each and every blog post) hahaha ok till next time x
OMG IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH but I am back with a short update!!! Life has been tough, very tough cos school work is starting to pile up (has piled up) like a mountain and I am so so so unmotivated to do shit :( I feel like I very no life lor cos everyday only thinking about school work then worry about this and that.
But good news, my grad trip to Penang has been confirmed yay!!! Not very far la but still somewhere out of Singapore right? And part of the reason is cos Im broke as hell these days and I still have to pay for my trip to Hong Kong with my cousins which is also in march :( So Im getting quite stressed over my financial status. But dont worry, I got this!!!
I really cant wait for school to end cos I feel like Im running a constant marathon for months. Somemore these days my sleeping time is like past 1am lor and I dont even feel that tired anymore (past 12) because of how often I sleep so late.
I really dont have much time to think about anything else or go anywhere else because of all the shit I need to do like doing surveys and staff. We had to rush like crazy during the university exam week because after that is their term break already. But I felt damn guilty when I had to interrupt someone to do the survey when they are mugging :(
But I saw SMU, NUS and NTU campus already and all really very nice!!! My favourite was NUS hehehe I mean we didnt explore the whole school, duh. But we went to this place and it left an impression on me la. Like the campus shuttle is damn cool cos so many different bus since np only have one that goes around the whole school hahahaha
I guess this is it!!! I still have to go back to work hahaha byebye x
So, I went for Taylor's concert last night and I am now suffering from major post concert syndrome/depression. She was so so so amazing and I am lost for words. Definately one of the best concerts Ive been to, or the best. Honestly, I have never felt as sad after a concert before but this is constantly on my mind :'( I guess Taylor rly made an impact man. And I wasnt that excited before the concert cos i couldnt rly remember all the lyrics to her song.
The night didnt start off well cos the merchandise queue was so long when we arrived at Kallang. Queue until the booth then they told us the sunglasses that Jiayi wanted was sold out one hour ago. Then we went the booth upstairs to check and thankfully there was still stock so she went to ask some kind soul to get it for her since it might be sold out once we reach the booth. Desperate times call for desperate measures hahahaha.
When we went in, we decided that we should go to the bottom cat the front there and sit on the floor. Everything was fine until the stupid person came to shoo us away rudely wth they can at least be nice lor. Even stand at the top/back also get shooed away. So when the concert started, I thought they wont come and disturb us so I went back down and same thing happen. The guy came and shouted "GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT" and shone the torchlights at me then I was like wtf??? Not like the people around complain or what. He did it to me twice before I couldnt take it and went upstairs.
Upstairs was peaceful because dont have all these people going around shouting at people. I didnt even sit at my place even though it was all the way in front. I just decided to stand at the front of the railing. But then after awhile, this girl behind told me that I was blocking her nicely so I sat down. The view was rly damn good also cos her stage will come up and turn. This malay girl beside me was very nice also, she kept smiling at me and even made space for Jiayi when she decided that she can no longer take those people and came back up hahahahaha.
Thankfully, the night wasnt ruined by those stupid people omg. Like what I said, Taylor was so amazing. But I was sad that she didnt sing 'You Belong with Me' :'( BUT she sang 'Love Story' and it struck me that it was 8 years ago. All those sec 1 feels hahahahaha. All her performances were amazing, like all the props and all the stage decor. One of it was this dreamydreamy feel when she sang wildest dreams, it was soooo pretty :') All the things she say made me tear a little too yknow.
A fight almost broke up close to the end of the concert cos the guy sitting down wasnt happy that he was constantly being blocked by this person. They were shouting so loud wtf then one of the person went to call the security guard up to talk to the blocking person. Then before that, this person came up and tell all of us to return to our seat then when we all never move, she just gave up and went back down wth.
Ohoh and I danced to 'Shake It Off' hehehehe and actually all the other songs also. I was just swaying and singing and setting my camera to take nice videos hahahaha. And they provided this band that is sync with the music so like at this certain point of time everyone's light bracelet will turn to blue then you will see a sea of blue. It damn pretty hehehe I felt so sad when she ended with all the bow and now Im still not over it omg
& I finally set my camera to a setting whereby I can actually see her face after a few song LOL
